Hi,<div><br></div><div>i've created some classes for phase-correlation method (PCM) registration which is basically the cross-correlation technique but which ignores the amplitude spectrum information:</div><div><br></div>
<div> <a href="http://www.insight-journal.org/browse/publication/138">http://www.insight-journal.org/browse/publication/138</a></div><div><br></div><div>There are some issues with the IJ post (FFTW availability and VNL_FFT issues), so let me help you with using the code if neccessary.</div>
<div><br></div><div>I've also developed a 3D iterative algorithm based on PCM:</div><div><br></div><div> <span class="Apple-style-span" style="color: rgb(85, 26, 139); text-decoration: underline;"><a href="http://dx.doi.org/10.1016/j.patrec.2009.03.015">http://dx.doi.org/10.1016/j.patrec.2009.03.015</a></span></div>
<div><br></div><div>I can send you the paper if you want. The method is implemented in ITK and I am going to refactor the code and submit it into IJ as well.</div><div><br></div><div>Regards,</div><div><br></div><div> Jakub</div>
<div><br></div><div><br><br><div class="gmail_quote">2009/5/22 Michael Jackson <span dir="ltr"><<a href="mailto:mike.jackson@bluequartz.net">mike.jackson@bluequartz.net</a>></span><br><blockquote class="gmail_quote" style="margin:0 0 0 .8ex;border-left:1px #ccc solid;padding-left:1ex;">
Are there any sets of classes or does someone have some code they are willing to share that implements registration using cross-correlations and FFTs? It was suggested to me that the stated technique may be able to register the images that I am currently dealing with. I think this post <<a href="http://www.itk.org/pipermail/insight-users/2006-July/" target="_blank">http://www.itk.org/pipermail/insight-users/2006-July/</a>018687.html> is pretty close to what I want to do.<br>
<br>
Thanks for any help.<br>
