I really think the questions raised by the microscopy community are
great and should be addressed. I would be very happy to participate to
the discussion and maybe bring in some ideas. There are tough
questions though, that have been presented numerous time to the
community already without a clear answer so far. They deserve the
right amount of time for people to think about it. Also, I do not
think that any core itk-v4 contract was awarded for that, correct?

Unfortunately, we are on a very tight schedule for v4 core, and some
core questions (simple itk, wrapping, dicom, ....) haven't been
discussed about for almost three weeks now. I am wondering (out loud)
if this is the right time and place fr this discussion.

We should have sent the draft for T.O.2 one week ago already, and I m
concerned that we wouldn't be able to converge on those three (and
more) points this week again if we started with microscopy. I know
this is a concern for many people as bill, luis and other suggested
that the agenda be reversed for that exact same reason. I suggest we
had microscopy to the agenda, not to forget about it, but lower than
the itk-v4 core points, especially those that haven't been adressed
for three weeks.

regards.
