after compiling itk under windows with visual studio 10 (32 bit), with<br>
fftw3 enhancement and the fftconv wrapper proposed by Gaëtan Lehman, I<br>
found some funny things in my code :<br>

under windows I have to face memory limitation that are rather drastic : I<br>
cannot process an image bigger than 250*250*250 double itkImage with a<br>
fourier transform,<br>
<br>
under linux there is no problem at all (I can go up to 500*500*500 double<br>
itkImage), itk can allocate whatever is needed (eventually it falls on<br>
swap).<br>
<br>
My question is : how to overcome this ? Should I go for a windows 7 64 bit<br>
os ? Does this will REALLY resolve this problem ? Is there a clever (or<br>
usual) workaround that I am not aware of ?<br>
