Hi Meena,

If you want to use the FuzzyConnectedness method,
When you build ITK, you should have enabled the
"ITK_USE_PATENTED" flag in CMake.

Please note, however, that due to our recent adoption of
the Apache license for ITKv4, we have removed all patented
code from ITK. (Including the fuzzy connectedness methods).

So, I would encourage you to NOT use any code that is
covered by patents. Such methods do NOT contribute to
the progress of science an technology.

Best,

Luis

------------------------------------------------

On Sat, Feb 5, 2011 at 12:41 PM, Meena Prakash <eshwari_2000@rediffmail.com> wrote:
I'm working with ITK and I'm trying to run the FuzzyConnectednessImageFilter.cxx available in the Examples/Patented Directory. I have written the CMakeLists file including the library files IO, Common, Patented and Algorithms. Configuration and Generation have been completed in CMAKE. But when building the project it shows the fatal error Patented.lib not found. I would be happy if I could rectify the error. I,m very much interested in doing the program for my research. Kindly help me as soon as possible.
