I tried to build ITK (ITK-3.20) on my new computer (OS: Windows 7 64 bit Pro). I am using the C++ compiler in the MS Visual Studio 2008 Professional edition.<br>

I get the following error when building ITK:<br>

Error 44 error C2248: 'vnl_sparse_matrix<T>::mult' : cannot access protected member declared in class 'vnl_sparse_matrix<T>' c:\InsightToolkit-3.20.0\Code\Numerics\FEM\itkFEMLinearSystemWrapperVNL.cxx 265<br>

I would appreciate any suggestion in fixing this error.<br>
