I have CT of various regions of the body and am interested in doing 2 types of segmentations.<div><br></div><div>1.  I would like to segment the outline of the body from the table the patient is laying on, and the air</div>
<div>2.  I would like to segment the lung</div><div><br></div><div>I am very new to ITK and was hoping someone could suggest some good algorithms to start with.  For the body segmentation, I assume a very crude thresholding and smoothing would be OK, but I&#39;m not sure.</div>
