take a look on how to read a dicom series and save again as a dicom series<br>

Btw, using ITK 4.3.1 I found I didn't need to apply the shiftscale filter.<br>
Pay attention to the dimension of the images, this time you will need to<br>
apply the roi filter to a 3 d image , and change start and size parameters<br>
accordingly.<br>
