- Multi-threading strategy (Stephane PLOIX)
- I'd like to discuss starting to remove the backwards compatibility layer we implemented to transition from VTK 4 to 5. It has been a long time since 5.0 and it is time. The backwards compatibility layer has a lot code that is preventing us to clean up the pipeline logic in VTK. The main one being the use of vtkDataObject to carry meta-data during pipeline passes.
