The life cycle of a proposal
The proposed life cycle of a modification or addition to ITK is the following
- Presentation of the proposal over the developers mailing list or the weekly tcon
- Technical brainstorming on the Wiki
- Development of a prototype (experimental build)
- Technical review by the oversight commitee
- Voting for addition
- Committing modifications in CVS
- Maintaining the code forever...
