Virtual tools used in the AVM resection simulator

1. Suction Tool: This tool is responsible to suck blood and brain matter. That action can be simulated by removing material from the mesh (topological changes). Also, this tool has a small orifice that allows the surgeon to increase the suction power.

 a. To model this tool we created mesh of the actual instrument.
 b. To model the suction power we need to place a touch potentiometer and read the on/off status to make the model react to it.
