would not using vtkLineSource be much simpler?

Definitely. I updated it. (p.s. please "sign" your comments on the talk page so it is easier to track. You simply write 4 tildaes which makes a "sine" wave, which is a joke shortcut for "signing" it, ha) daviddoria 21:33, 29 January 2010 (UTC)
