Olivier Commowick obtained his Ph.D. in biomedical image processing from INRIA Sophia Antipolis (Asclepios team) where he worked on anatomical atlas construction and registration for radiotherapy under the supervision of Gregoire Malandain. Olivier holds M.S. degrees in applied mathematics and computer vision from Ecole Normale Superieure de Cachan and in computer science from University of Technology of Compiegne. He then pursued a postdoctoral fellowship at Harvard University at the Children's Hospital Boston, under the direction of Dr. Simon K. Warfield. His research interests include creation and registration of atlases for segmentation and group statististics and clinical applications of MRI and DTI processing (radiotherapy, epilepsy surgery planning, multiple sclerosis).
