[ITK] [ITK-dev] gpu SyNImageRegistrationMethod

Hi,

How difficult would it be to get the SyNImageRegistrationMethod running on
GPU ?

http://www.itk.org/Doxygen/html/classitk_1_1SyNImageRegistrationMethod.html

  - For an initial pass it seems like kernels for the similarity metric,
derivative, gaussian convolution would provide speed up.
  - are the multi-resolution registration data structures available on GPU ?
  - what about the initial affine registration ?

It seems like a good portion of the GPU infrastructure is implemented ?
Are there any major steps that I'm missing ?
