[ITK] Running an ITK program

Hi,
welcome to ITK.

The ITK wiki [1] and the ITK software guide [2] are both worth the lecture
to start with ITK.

The easiest way to build ITK is to use CMake [3]. CMake will do all the
necessary steps to configure and generate the solution or makefiles
depending on the OS you are using. In CMake you will specify where your
binaries will be located, so you will just need to point to this location
when trying to build your own ITK-based application.
