[ITK] [ITK-users] itkMeanImageFilter on RGB (how to adjust example MedianFilteringOfAnRGBImage?)

You need to define a cast operator. SOmething like:
  operator TComponent()
  {
    return this->GetLuminance();
  }

But I don't think you will get the result you want.
