Hi Brad,
Thanks for your feedback on this.
It appear that when users send messages to the ITK community mailing list
> those who are just subscribed to the user and developer lists don't get
> them. Its that correct and expected?

- People subscribed the Developer list will not get messages from the User
list or the Community list.
- People subscribed to the User list will not get messages from the
Developer list or the Community list.
- People subscribed to the Community list will get messages sent to the
Community, Developer, and User lists.
This is an opt-in situation. No person is forcibly subscribed to a list.
The Community list receives all posted messages. Messages from the
Community list are not sent out to the other lists because the people
subscribed the other lists may not want to take part.

Thanks for the note. I will check with the sys-admins.

Positive suggestions on how to improve the situation are welcome. Perhaps
we should rename the subject line prefixes from "[ITK Community]",
"[Insight-users]", "[Insight-developers]" to "[ITK]", "[ITK-Users]",
"[ITK-Dev]". ITK's verbosity may not be appropriate here :-).
Currently, those who use the community list you are pushing for appear not

Messages sent to the Developers are not sent to the Users list and
vice-versa. The Community list is public and opt-in. Subscription and
participation is welcome but not forced.
Thanks,
Matt
