Olivier, I did not see anything that was obviously wrong in your code when I
was reading through it. 

I also agree with Andras on this. It could be that your code is correct, but
your parameters e.g. number of landmarks) are not suitable for generating a
quality deformation field. Might I also suggest that you look into the
corresponding  Slicer module

and see if it is suitable for your purposes?
