[ITK] amoeba optimizer

Dear all,

I am registering a couple of volumes with ITK 4 on windows 7 64 bit.

I am trying to use the AmoebaOptimizerV4.

Unfortunately, the method
optimizer->SetNumberOfIterations(numberOfIterations);
does not work and the registration continues after the numberOfIterations I
choose.
Is this known? Are there other methods in order to stop the registration
process?
