Hi Shrabani Ghosh,

you should take a look at this

example for writing DICOM, and at this
<https://itk.org/Doxygen/html/Examples_2IO_2ImageSeriesReadWrite_8cxx-example.html>
one for reading a series of PNGs as a 3D image.
