[IGSTK-Developers] review meeting on Thursday June 1 from 1 to 4 pm as extended teleconference: please reserve the time

Hi everyone:

 

I propose we hold our 18 month review meeting on Thursday June 1 from 1 to 4
pm as an extended teleconference. I am open to suggestions as to the exact
format, but we could start with a short regular tcon, then update progress
on different areas such as the book, applications, etc, then review the
architecture; and then talk about future plans including how we can support
the toolkit going forward including what people's expectations are.

 

>From my discussions with people in my recent travels, the toolkit has
enormous promise, and thus the major issue will be how to sustain the effort
while we seek new funding. I can keep the effort going from my end as I have
some internal funds I can use, but I don't have any other funds after August
to sustain other people and even if we get the proposal funded it won't
start until January. 

 

So let us keep moving ahead! Please let me know if you can make this time
slot (it seems that most people can) and send me any ideas for what we
should cover. I will make an agenda by this Thursday and we can discuss it
at this week's tcon.
