  Please find below the link to the draft of the protocol
  for sharing data between Slicer3 and IGSTK.

  We are calling this protocol "OpenIGTLink":

  http://wiki.na-mic.org/Wiki/index.php/OpenIGTLink/Protocol

  We will move forward to start crafting an Open Source C++
  (BSD-license) for reading and writing records in this
  protocol.

  Any software that reads/write this protocol will be able
  to send/receive tracker-transforms and images to and from
  Slicer and IGSTK.
