Here are the notes from our last tcon on 6/29/2001. I apologize for the
delay.

1. Bill Lorensen has been testing the mutual information registration
algorithm and it seems to be working well for him to register longitudinal
MRI data of Alzheimer's cases. He will check his code in as an example in
ITK.

2. An MR inhomogeniety correction algorithm has been developed at UNC based
on Gerig's paper from TMI Feb 2001. The UNC folks will check it in as a
filter in ITK.

3. The template depth limits in various compilers would have to be raised.
This will be done by the Kitware folks in CMake.

4. It was decided that the image data to be used for examples will be stored
under the /InsightData directory.

5. Will had suggestions about agenda items for the meeting. In addition to
the state of the software, CABLE, CMake, etc, we should also talk about
examples that people have done.

6. For mutual information and for other algorithms there is a need for
normalizing images to between 0 or 1 to be zero mean and unit variance. We
need filters in ITK for such normalizations.

7. Jim Miller has put in the -- operator on the iterators. There was
discussion on whether this operator should one past the end.
Jim Miller will put some iterator information in Doxygen.

8. The group felt a need for SetSpacing and SetOrigin functions in the Image
object to handle resampled images.

9. There were some questions about what filters should apply to physical
images.

Please feel free to add anything that I missed.
Thanks,
Vikram
