I don't think the algorithm will work for non integer values. Have you
checked that?

If it is a probelm, we better discuss on the tcon. For the time being, I
have fixes that will permit float (you have to delete the unsigned int
methods). Otherwise, we better back out the changes.

ok that's fine but the changes need to be implemented.  otherwise, the
multi-res deformable registration only works correctly on images with
dimensions that are divisible by two at all levels.

Do you have an idea of what needs to be changed so I can get on this?
