[Insight-developers] 4D Dicom Data

I am trying to use the GDCMImageIO to load a series of DTI data.
Currently I load this as a 3D dataset and sort the images once loaded to
generate 4D dataset. I would prefer to use GDCMImageIO to generate a 4D
dataset upon loading. When the images are loaded as 3D data, the image
size is 128x128x768. When loaded as 4D data, the image size is
128x128x768x1. In both cases, the GDCMSeriesFileNames reports an error
that the image position is not unique. Shouldn't GDCMImageIO be able to
load the 4D data with each time point or in this case Bvalue and
direction as the fourth dimension?

In both the 3D and 4D cases I have turned SetUseSeriesDetails( false ).
I can use  SetUseSeriesDetails( true ) and create a 4D image from a
series of 3D images. However, the order of the SeriesUids is appears to
be alphabetical instead of based on the acquisition order.
