[Insight-developers] Small factorization patch for metaImage.cxx (MetaIO)

Hi All,

In my attempt to solve the unicode filename issue on windows
  http://www.itk.org/Bug/view.php?id=9623
I wrote the attached patch that simply cleans up the metaImage.cxx
code by factorizing the #ifdef sgi.

Could a MetaIO developer review it and commit it if deemed clean
enough? This would help me move forward.
