[Insight-developers] A couple Dashboard issues

Luis,

These are small issues which I don't believe overlap with the upgrades to the utilities. I don't believe this should hold up people starting to work on the next phase, just delay their commit until they can rebase or what not onto this tag.

Also which tiff library are we upgrading too? Is it the one that includes large tiff support?
