They've worked for developers in ParaView and VTK so far, and they
work for me with ITK.  IIRC you even reported success on the VTK
list, at least with VTK.

Let's diagnose the problem.  What is the output of

 cd "c:/lorensen/ProjectsGIT/ITK"
 git for-each-ref refs/remotes/origin

?

Also, can you reproduce it in a fresh clone?
