[Insight-developers] Transform 'Clone' method patch languishing

I did considerable work on this patch a couple weeks back and it has been
hanging out in limbo.

All it does is allow for a transform object to be copied via a Clone
method.

So far I've discussed this with Michael Stauffer extensively and tried to
address his concerns.  But at this point it needs to be either approved or
abandoned.
