[Insight-developers] Shared libs on Mac

The .so extension surprises me.  I thought that all shared libs on mac had .dylib.  I wonder if the default shared library naming convention is not being in respected on mac.

Yes it does. In prior version of ITK these libs had dylib extensions.

I'll post a patch.
