[Insight-users] Writing / Reading RGB color images

Hi Zein,

You can read and write RGB color images using
both the PNG and MetaImage IO classes.

You may want to look at the example:

   Insight/Examples/IO/RGBImageReadWrite.cxx

Please note that you no longer need to set
the ImageIO object explicitly using SetImageIO.
The factory mechanism will try to find an
ImageIO object using the filename extension.

This particular example is simply reading an
image from a file and writing it to another
file. Both the input and output files can
be PNG or MetaImage.
