Dear Lydia,
Thankyou for your help.
We have a few more queries.
 We are sending u two registration output matrices.One is from itk =
MultiResMIRegistration example.Other  is from our code snippet that u =
verified two days back.We have no idea about the final parameters.In our =
code initial transform parameters are default =
parameters(transform->GetParameters()i.e. matrix is identity and offset =
is all zeros).Please check the initial and final parameters and tell =
whether output is correct or not.If not, please suggest us where =
registration is going wrong.We are also enclosing the fixed and moving =
volume details.

Fixed:
 MRI size 256X256X120=20
 Spacing is 0.859373\0.859375

 SPECT size 128X128X48
 Spacing is 1.802125e+00\1.802125e+00

itk itk MultiResMIRegistration example output:
