Certainly.  You use the same idiom as you would with any other filter, 
for which you can find examples in IsightApplications.  Look at the 
references to progressSlider in GaussianFilter/liFilterConsole2D.cpp. 
The definition of progressSlider is in the bin directory since it's 
generated during the compile process.
