 Zein,

   the Voronoi segmentation filter performs a series of 2D segmentations
on a stack of slices... We use is it in a 3D segmentation pipeline:
3D Fuzzy Connectedness + Voronoi Classification + 3D Deformable Model

 we pass data between modules as 3D binary masks...
