I put in a new filter the other day that allows you to paste one image
onto another image. So if you want to take a subregion of one image (the
source) and place it somewhere in another image (the destination), such the
output looks like the destination with some of its pixels replaced with the
source, then you can use the PasteImageFilter (must be a Friday because that
was one long sentence).
Restrictions are that the two inputs (source and destination) must be the
same type (pixel type and dimension).
