Hi Zhao,


1) Yes, the PointSet can use ANYTHING
   as pixel type. That's advantage of
   having the PointSet templated over
   the pixel type. You will find an
   example of advanced pixel types for
   the mesh in the morphogenesis
   application available in

    InsightApplications/Morphogenesis

   in this application, the pixel type
   is an emulator of a biological cell.
   (e.g. a Bacteria).

2) There is not native support for irregular
   lines at this point.

   However, nothing prevents you from adding
   one.  The only condition is to make sure
   that your new cell type derives from
   itkCellInterface.

   You may want to implement the irregular
   cell using the itkPath class or any of
   its related classes.
