[Insight-users] ImageReadCastWrite example problem

Hi,
I am attempting to use the example ImageReadCastWrite.cxx.  I am changing
the dimension to 3, and providing an 8-bit multi-page tiff file as the
input.  The program executes without error, but the output result ends up
begin a two dimensional tiff image that appears to contain nothing but
noise.

Can anyone explain to me why this does not work correctly?
