[Insight-users] ImageReadCastWrite example problem

Hi Luis,
1) I am using ITK 1.6.

2) I am sending you another email to you (and not the entire listserv)
titled "ImageReadCastWrite example problem images" that contains the
information on how to download the data.

3) I ran the identify tool on the image. It confirmed it was a multi-page
tiff file. I am not sure if that is what you mean by "verify the true
nature of your input image".

Thanks,
Karl

Hi Karl,

1) What version of ITK are you using ?

2) Can you post your input and output images
    somewhere (e.g. a web page) ?

an appearance of "noise" usually is related
to a truncation of 16bits data into 8bits
    data.

3) Have you used the "identify" tool from
ImageMagick in order to verify the true
nature of your input image ?

Please let us know,

   Thanks,

      Luis
