Hi Darren,

Starting in June 2003 all the email addresses
in the mailing list held at Kitware have been
rewrote in order to prevent email harvesters
to parse them.

If you look at the archives (from june 2003)
http://www.itk.org/pipermail/insight-users/

The email addresses have inserted spaces and
" at " characters replaced in order to make them
human-readable but still hard to parse.

In any case, in the current decadent state of
the Web there is no much you can do to avoid
spam except for installing spam filters in your
own email client.

You may want to consider the Zen approach to
spam, which is taking it as part of life,
like washing the dishes or shoveling the snow.

Regards,

    Luis
