Hi Raghu,
Good news: Your code works for me.
Bad news: Your data seems to be the problem.
The fact that you are getting the warning about
the "no magic number" is a bad sign about the
compliance of your files with the DICOM standard.
You may want to get back to your data source
and complaint about the format used for your files.
