[Insight-users] Geodesic Active Contour and Fast marching Runtime Error

Hi all,
 
i read a MRI image using the meta header, with the GeodesicActiveContour and FastMarchingLevelSet applications (from Insight Applications 1.40). i was able to display the image using the "display" button but whenever i click on the other buttons such as "Gradient magnitude", "Linear Sigmoid", "Fast marching", etc., the progress bar will start running and get stuck halfway, and these 2 applications will run dead with the error:
The institution at "0xffffffff" referenced at "0xffffffff". The memory could not be "read".
 
Can anyone tell me what's going on, i've rebuilt the Applications twice and they'r still the same.
