[Insight-users] Problem installing on SGI (dicom_stl)

We are attempting to install: InsightToolkit-2.0.1
on SGI 64 bit system
using:  CMake Version 2.0 - patch 6

"make" fails at

  A type specifier is expected.

Tried: CMake Version 2.2 but got same error

Have tried : unsetenv CC  &  unsetenv CXXX as one source suggested but have
still not got past this point.
