Hi Xavier,

Most of the applications in InsightApplications will read
MetaImage files, as well as any of the other formats supported
by ITK. For example, Analyze, Dicom, GIPL, VTK....

You may want to look at

     InsightApplications/
                 ImageViewer
                 ColorImageViewer
                 SNAP


You can also load MetaImage files into VolView by selecting
them as Raw files.
