Hi Jayme
VTK is a visualization toolkit
ITK is a toolkit for medical image processing
There is some small overlap between the two toolkits.
E.g. both will have a canny edge detector, and a gaussian
smoothing filter.
In practice you usually want to use them together in
a full application.
