[Insight-users] Dicom to mhd spacing problem

Hi Michael,

ITK (actually GDCM) computes the Z spacing between sliced by using
the position of two consecutive slices, not by grabbing the value
from the DICOM header.


For details you may want to look at:


    Insight/Code/IO/itkGDCMImageIO.cxx line 504:

       m_Spacing[2] = header->GetZSpacing();


and


    Insight/Utilities/gdcm/gdcmFile.cxx  line 590:

          GetZSpacing() method
