[Insight-users] ITK 2.8.0 released soon ?

Hi Gaetan,

ITK was tagged and branched for the release 2.8 a week ago.

However there were some pending issues related to using
a GDCM installed in your system instead of the one in ITK.

We have been patching the branch ITK 2.8 in order to fix
those issues, and as soon as we consider it to be stable
we will tag it again as ITK 2.8.1 and generate tarballs
for it.


In the meantime, you can simply get the branch from CVS
by using the tag:

                      ITK-2-8

for example as:


             cvs -q update -dPA -r ITK-2-8

This will give you the current status of the 2.8 branch,
including the most recent fixes.
