[Insight-users] Diminish the number of points in ICP Registration

Hello

I've been trying the ICP registration using two set points extracted from a set of slices using BinaryMask3DMeshSource. The points extracted represents very good the structure of study but with too many points, around 130000, so the registration algorithm takes for ever.

I wonder if there is some function or utility, within itk, that can extract the most representative points, or some option of BinaryMask3DMeshSource, that i may have skipped, to diminish the number of points.
