[Insight-users] WrapITK can't find libitkvnl.dylib.2.8

I've built and installed WrapITK successfully, but am having trouble  
with getting things to work at runtime (python).

It appears that libitkvnl.dylib.2.8 can't be found, but it does exist  
(in directory /usr/local/lib/InsightToolkit) -  and I've added this  
directory to my PATH env variable.

My platform is Mac OS X.

Any ideas for what could be going wrong?
