[Insight-users] has the last osx update made ITK XCode-unfriendly ?

Dear all,

I would like to check if someone has the same problem than me. I
really do need help on that one.

I used to compile ITK-3.2.0 or any ITK project on OSX 10.3.9 with
ccmake-2.4.6-darwin on my G5 or my G4-powerbook with no problem. It
was so smooth that I wonder somehow if I forgot the procedure or if I
have a real problem!

What I use to do is to type the command
ccmake . -GXcode, switch off the examples and testing when compiling
ITK, or providing ITK path if compiling my code, go through the [c]
and [g] options and quit ccmake.
Then I had a xcode project available which had been automatically
generated, open it and build ITK or my code.

Last week, I started a new project by copying and editing one of my
cmakelist file and using a cxx example downloaded from ITK's website.
I got an error from ccmake saying that it was forced to use the g++
to resolve a compiler conflict. I could'nt get it since it was giving
the name of the same compiler in ITK and in my project. After several
attempts in using [c] in ccmake to resolve this issue, I decided to
start from scratch.

I installed XCode, ccmake, and ITK-3.2.0 again from the zip files
that where the ones that used to work well.
XCode version is: Component versions Xcode IDE: 759.0 Xcode Core:
757.0 ToolSupport: 733.0

With ccmake . -GXCode in insight's folder, the following occurs:

- hit [c], it configures and displays ccmake's output, which is blank
- hit [e] to exit
- turn examples and testing to off
- hit [c]
- hit [g]
- ccmake exits and I get the shell back.

I can't find the usual xcode project that should have been generated.

Do you have any suggestions ? I guess that either I have forgotten
the correct procedure since I haven't build any project for a (short)
while or that maybe an apple osx/xcode update has changed something.
This issue is exactly the same on my both computers.
I remember vaguely having clicked "yes" when osx's auto update
proposed me updates last month. I know i should'nt have done that
blindly but I was in a hurry lately...

Any suggestion or comment will be very much appreciated !

Thanks

Antoine
