[Insight-users] libjpeg not thread safe?

Dear all,

I had several issues with multi-threading in my application that uses
ITK. They all disappeared after locking the reading of the jpeg
images.

This does not bring down significantly the performance of my
application as the processing takes much longer than disk IO.  Still,
I was wondering, does anyone know of a thread safe jpeg library?
