A set of 20 brain phantom segmentations have been
made available by the BrainWeb project.
Details on the data are described in the IEE TMI paper:
"Twenty new digital brain phantoms for creation
of validation image data bases"
by
B. Aubert-Broche, M. Griffin, G.B. Pike,
A.C. Evans and D.L. Collins
IEEE TMI, Vol 25, No.11, November 2006
pages 1410-1416
The datasets can be downloaded from:
http://www.bic.mni.mcgill.ca/brainweb/anatomic_normal_20.html
The 20 datasets are distributed along with segmentation
of the following tissues:
Discrete Model: a single dataset with labels
Fuzzy Models:
Background
CSF
Grey Matter
White Matter
Fat
Muscle
Muscle / Skin
Skull
Vessels
Connectiv
Dura
Marrow
If you use this data, please make sure to give credit
to the BrainWeb research team at McGill University.
Many thanks to the McGill University team
for making this data available !!
Sharing data is an excellent way of fostering
the progress of the field.
